The mission of the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation is to support the operations of the Monterey County Fair & Event Center and to fund community agriculture awareness activities, youth scholarships, and capital improvements to Monterey County Fair & Event Center’s facilities and grounds.

Benefits

Season Pass

Season pass (wristband) to the show and fair grants you daily entrance to the Monterey County Fair – “Cowboy Boots and Coastal Roots”. You must present your wristband at the admission gate for entry. You will not be permitted entry without a valid wristband. A lost wristband may be replaced for a fee of $25 each.

Parking

Heritage Parking passes are valid at the designated CVS Parking lot area during Fair dates. It is a “First Come, First Served” basis. Your assigned Parking Pass must be placed on the driver’s side of the windshield and visible to parking staff. Heritage Family Members* may purchase an extra Parking Pass for $100 (very limited number available).

Hospitality

We will be utilizing the SSB Construction Heritage Tent. The schedule is as follows: Hospitality memberships are good during the Monterey County Fair and include a full bar, cold non-alcoholic refreshments, appetizers, dinner, dessert and a parking pass for the week at the CVS parking lot. Hospitality guest passes are for day use only during the duration of the fair and very limited.

Also included tickets to “Premiere Party” on September 1.

Doors Open at 4:00 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. Inclusive bar is from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, then cash bar resumes from 7:00pm to 8:15pm (last call).

There will be no hospitality in the Heritage Tent on Saturday 9/5 due to the Livestock Auction and lunch to be served to buyers. Each Heritage Member is limited to a specific number of Hospitality passes included with their membership packet and must be presented for entry into the Hospitality area. All members and guests will be required to show wristbands or hand over guest pass each day they visit the Hospitality Tent. No food or beverages may be taken outside of the designated Hospitality area. A Heritage Membership holder may purchase up to four (4) additional Hospitality guest passes daily in the Heritage tent for immediate family members only. These passes are valid for day of use, and will be valid only during the Fair with the above timeline. A guest may join the Heritage Foundation and the pass per person fee paid when they were a guest will be applied towards their annual membership fee for the current year. Parking passes will also be included in the membership packet for the CVS parking lot. Extra parking passes can be purchased daily at the Heritage tent while supplies last.

The Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s Heritage Animal Exhibitor and recipient of a $2,500 Scholarship, is Callie Marci.  She recently graduated from Hollister High School and plans to attend Oregon State University in the fall to study Psychology and Criminal Justice.
